Well I fell off my wallet and pulled the trigger on a set of Wood TW6-6 cams for my FatBob Got the adjustable pushrods etc as well, now just waiting anxiously for USPS to cross the border with the goodies lol.
Was a tossup between these and Andrews 26's, but decided to go with the Wood as Jamie has maps done for the PCV which I already have, thought it may get me closer on the map initially.
Anyone have good or bad to say about these cams? In a 2008 FatBob with V&H Big Radius 2-2 and an RSD a/c.
Thanks !

Congrats ... Vic (SC-longhair) is in the process of installing those same cams in his '07 (I think) Wide Glide ...
He did a bunch of research before pulling the trigger and based on what he (and others have) posted looks like you should be very happy with your combination ....
Not to hijack, but just kind of thinking out loud about Don's suggestion of adding a 4* advance gear (sprocket) ... I guess that will advance the opening (and closing) of both intake and exhaust cycles (since it does not change lift or lobe separation angles) throughout the RPM range .... Okay, so if in my ECM, I have a spark (ignition) advance curve, would I have to advance all points on the curve by 4* beyond the existing setting ...? Or, would it be optimal to leave where it is ... or steepen the curve (i.e., leave it at low RPM, but advance it at higher RPMs) ...?
I don't have a 4* advance sprocket, but just thinking how it would change things and if there was a further change in ignition to run at optimal settings ....
[Actually, might not be moot since Vic got the wrong sprocket and asked if I want the one he's got ....]

I am sitting on the fence about this cam. When you get them installed, let me know how things turn out.

I didn't do diddly worth of research. I heard some good reviews of the cam and stumbled upon a good deal on the HDF classifieds more than a year ago. Pretty close to half price and they only had ~3500 miles on them.
I'll have my bike done tomorrow (thursday). So, if you guys can hang on a day or so I can give you my opinion. I think anything above stock should yield a decent SOTP (seat of the pants) test. Bob Wood is regarded as someone who knows his stuff.

I have nothing but good to say about Wood TW-6 cams....have the TW6-408's in mine. Hits early hits hard and plays almost to the extended redline.
About my only real concern is going to be increased valve train noise. Has anyone noticed this trait with Wood cams? Seen some comments going both ways on the engine forum...
Also, will not running the 4* advance gear be a huge drop off in performance?
I have about 1500 miles on my tw6 cams and they are un-friggin-believeable. There is some valve train noise, but it doesn't bother me any. Huge power increase.
