Default 106 jims stroker motor

Hey Fellas






I have bought a friends 106 jims stroker motor outta his 2003 fxdx (DYNA) anyone here know if it'll fit into flht or flhx?


Sorry I know this is the dyna section but someone here mite know if the bagger section doesnt.

It should provided your bike is between 99 and 06/07. I could be wrong though.

I believe Chad is correct ... Street Glide, Electra Glide and the Dyna line-up all utilize the Twin Cam "A" series (non counterbalanced) motors .... only thing is on the later baggers there is a mount that attaches to the head, so the newer (maybe '07 or '08 ... don't remember which ...) and later won't work unless you were to change out the heads ....

I know on the earlier models the oil lines are external and then newer ones have passages between the trans and engine. 06-up dyna and 07-up touring have the internal passages. I believe the drive side of the flywheel has a different spline as well, I could be wrong on that though.
