So here's my almost 2 week old FXD. 8inch Road 6 Z bars, Silencer grips, foot and shifter peg, and Cycle Shack slip ons. Hopefully soon I get my forward controls. From there? We will see what strikes my fancy. Definitely needs some covers to put some black in the engine area. Thinking about a maybe a gloss black, no pad sissy bar.

Stock solo with matching passenger added. I'm thinking about a different seat though. Too wide between the legs. Maybe it will get a little more comfy with some miles.
Thanks for the comments. The 8 inch Z bars are perfect for me. They look awesome too. I've got some good compliments in person about the matching grips and pegs too.

Not only looks good, but I bet it's also more comfortable. Did you have to change cables and extend the wiring?
I used the stock wiring. No PC or any fuel remapping. No pops or anything on deceleration either. It seems to run good as is. Eventually I will upgrade to full exhaust system with an a/c and get it remapped. With these little changes, it feels and sounds like a whole new bike. I love the bars, but the Cycle Shacks were definitely the best $170 I spent.
If you're looking to add some black to your engine, RSD makes some awesome anodized black engine covers that I think look great on a silver engine. Pricey though.
