Hi, guys. I'm really new to all this, but I'll try my best to ask exactly what it is I need to know.
I have a 2009 Low Rider, and want to swap out the current stock bars with 12" HighNoon Z Bars (30" wide, 4.5" pullback).
What I'm trying to figure out (i.e. asking your opinions here) is whether I need to replace (out of necessity or purely for looks) the stock risers? They may be fine. I'm sure they'll fit O.K., I just don't want it to look silly - as the risers curve back, but the bars are very square and straight vertical.
I know this is purely opinion, but I'd like to see what you guys think/recommend.
I don't believe I've seen any pics of any shapes or sizes of ape hangers with the stock risers.
What are my options for appropriate risers?
Thanks.
D.
imo, it might look kinda weird. look at what other guys are using with that style of bar and see what looks best to you. if it was me i'd go with a straight riser that is on the short side.
Personally I'd find some inexpenive 1" risers to go with those bars. I've seen apes on pullback risers and I think they look like ****. You can find a pair through J&P with new bushings and everything for under 50 bones.
