I'm looking to get some saddle bags for my super glide. I haven't found any throw overs that I like. I found some HD bags #793000-06's that I like. Does anyone know how long they take to install/uninstall? I don't think I would have them on all that often, and don't want it to be too much of a hassle when I do want to use them. Thx...
Have a look at fox creek leather "low rider" bags. They may be of interest to you.
On the cheap look into tourmaster slant bags, medium size I believe.
I think I'm going to go with the Fox creek bags, like the look of them. I thought I read somewhere about throw overs scratching up the paint quite easily. Anyone ever hear of this? Seems like, as long as you're careful, and don't literally just throw them over, should be no problem. THX.
If you go with throw-overs get some rubber tool drawer liner and lay a piece over the fender before putting on the bags. The leather will rub against the rubber liner and not the fender.
