I have a 98 super glide do they make them for my bike? also are they easy to install?

For what it's worth, the derby cover gasket will last a long time if you don't tear it up. I still have the original one on mine and I would guess I have changed the primary fluid 9 or 10 times. It is a pretty tough gasket and since no adhesive is used on it there is no reason for it to fail.

I have the H-D one. I got it before the upgraded one though. The upgraded one is nicer, it has smaller and tighter ramps for when the chain moves the tensioner to the next ramp location. With it installed now, I have no extra primary noise, so, all is good. Believe me, I would not worry about it becoming too tight. After all it's in the 06+ bikes. I think the problems many had with the tensioner is just what happened to me, the chain did not provide enough slack with the new tensioner installed to set the tension right.

I apologize.
It took me a while to figure out you were retro fitting
the adjuster into an older bike and forgot that you have to set it up initially.

my bad!
