Default Anyone have thunderheader install instructions?

I received the thunderheader on friday without instructions. I'm sure it isn't that tough, but there may be some little tricks to keep the install clean and quick. I was wanting to install the pipe tomorrow (sunday). Does anyone have the instructions they could scan and email or fax to me? If not, does anyone have any tips? I would greatly appreciate it.

Here is a link to a rinehart 2-1 install. Would these instructions suffice for the thunderheader install? The OEM exhaust removal part should be the same.

Appreciate it guys.

Be sure to have the exhaust seals and retaining rings on hand.

I bought new exhaust port gaskets and I thought the stock flanges and retaining clips are to be re-used.

I haven't done the thunderheader. Hear they are excellent performers.

All of the black systems I have seen have very poor finish within a few weeks.

I would certainly think the manifold flanges are retained from the stock application.

You can reuse the exhaust gaskets and the retaining rings if they are good,
the rings sometimes stretch on removal, the gaskets are cheap enough,
dig em out and use new.

I keep a couple extra sets around, they are cheap, and will sometimes save a trip
to the dealerman. I keep extra flange locknuts around as well. They rattle off occasionally.

ofindica, A service manual is a very sound investment.

Another thing, be sure to keep the stock stuff.
