The only problem I have with thunderheader is that heat shields don't protect your heel from burning your boots on the pipes. If anyone has any suggestions besides wrapping my pipes I am open...
I have the black pipes with the chrome heat shields and I like the way they look I just wish that the forward pipe heat shield went down around the forward control area..

I just put a TH on my DX tonight and holy smokes. I'll never buy anything but THs again.

Personally...depends if you want performance or looks.
When I was in search of a new exhaust system my two choices were TH or BR. Love the BR, but wanted a little more performance so I went with the TH.
I also love the looks of the TH.

I think any 2 into 1 looks better than a 2 into 2 . IMO , a V-twin just looks , works , and sounds better with a 2 into 1 . See my sig for which one I like best . I had it coated by Jet-Hot , and any boot burn , now just wipes right off .
