Quick release mounting for a lower wind deflector?
I don't ride this time of year with even my HD quick release wind shield on but when I do use the wind shield the quick release is the way to go, on and off in seconds. I am curious if quick release mounting is available for a lower wind deflector as well. I have looked at Memphis Shades, National, and others but have not found anything yet. This would be for an 02 Wide Glide by the way.

i am making up the same thing bud! but i think for now i am going to just drill mine out and have the windshield clamps hold it... i plna on using it iwth my fairing anyway. intrested to see what you come up with

I have the memphis shades ones and looked at using some of the HD quick release clamps to mount them. The issue was they would turn from the wind on the forks since the clamps dont clamp that tight and wasnt connected to anything else.
I am sure you could figure out a way to stop it but they come off with just 1 screw (per side) anyway so wasnt worth the effort.
