Cams for '10 FXDB

I'm looking at upgrading the performance a bit more, but I dont have the big bucks to shell out for a bore upgrade (yet). Anyway, i was wondering if getting some new cams (I've looked at Andrews Cams) would improve bhp/torque at all?

I have a Screamin Eagle Race Tuner, Vance & Hines Shortshots and the Duke Air Filter, also from V&H. Other than that, it's just a stock Twin Cam 96.

I'd appreciate any advice on this matter, since I am very inexperienced mechanically. Thanks!

you will get some power with just cams, but if your heart is set on a BB kit, i would plan the whole package with the cams and some head work in the deal.

I did a Head-Quarters kit with head work, cams and pistons, money well spent. everything went like butter. and got great tech support.

and ive learned alot from form members. Phil and Dalton are the greatest!

another good product to look at is T- Man performance.

Hillside cycle and R&R are a few other popular guys.

go into this with an open mind, call a couple of these guys and choose the one that gives you the warm fuzzy feeling!
