I just bought a set of Kuryakyn Switchblade foot pegs on Ebay.. Does anyone have these on their bike?? After I bought them I read some reviews that were not too favorable..
Nice.. I heard they tend to try and rotate if you dont use Loctite when installing. I sat on a bike at the dealership that had them, they didnt seem to move at all when I was messing around with them.. Just wondering if Loctite is necessary..
If I may, I would like to join in with 'kdawg6583' on this thread. I see they have a small heel guard built in to the stirrup, will that keep your feet from slipping off?
i was trying to figure out which part turns? are you talking about the blade part or the main foot rest portion? I'm thinking I would really like a pair
The main foot peg. From what I understand, they are adjustable so you can set the angle depending on your foot position.
Mine should be here in a week or so.. I will let you know how it goes. Got them on Ebay, brand new, $106 and no shipping.

Look at the picture that the OP provided. The rubber pad that covers the end of the peg also covers the mounting bolt that passes through the peg. If the bolt loosens up any at all, the folding heel rest (when extended) will supply the leverage to rotate the peg. Clean the bolt, bolt hole with a good degreaser and use Loc Tite. I am considering mini floorboards, several members are using them and all seem to like them pretty well. The Switchblades work and I have had them for about 2 years but they do seem kinda flimsy.
