Question about using a turn signal extension when changing bars
Installing 14"Apes on my 2010 Wide Glide. When my dealer ordered the parts he said I needed a turn signal extension.I haven't really heard much said if anything about using turn signal extensions when guys are talking about installing their Apes. I have already pulled my wiring from inside the stock bars.The one side has the big black connector with a small black connector and the other side has the off white large connector and a small white connector.The turn signal extension they got me is black and flat with the female end accepting 6 prongs.It's marked 68983-10 Wire Harness. Does any of this sound familiar to those of you that have done this install? Thanks

I am assuming you want the signals on the controls. I am not familiar with what you have but I can offer a solution. I unplugged mine and took them off until I got the relocation kit to put them on the forks. It was a pain changing bars with those wires to deal with every time. Now its a piece of cake.
