I still have the stock pushrods and they work fine, they're lighter than adjustables and I don't ever have to worry about them coming apart, it's also cheaper. I am done with my engine until I wear it out or break something. The heat we're having reminded me why I have thick cylinder walls and mild compression.

Think about it this way ... the off-lobe part of the cam is unchanged from the diameter of the stock cam, so the pushrod doesn't have to be any longer or shorter (therefore no need for adjustable) .... all the longer rocker arm does is lever up the distance the valve is depressed ... therefore making it a little higher 'lift' ....
