I'm not against someone not wearing a helmet. I'm against doing so thinking it's safer; I'm against telling other people to go lidless for safety reasons; I'm against ignorance. What someone else chooses to do is their choice, just make that choice knowing all the consequences. Biking is about freedom, so be free; just understand the choice you are making.

Geez, the guy asked a simple question about a missing clasp for his novelty helmet. Give everybody a brake and leave the law-debate out of it. There is no helmet law in TX, I wear one, my choice, my right, my responsibility, my freedom.

dude, if you can't find a clasp I'll send you one for free, both halves.

Actually, I was able to identify the plastic buckle and bought a new one today. By the way, I rode home with the cereal bowl on my head....lol.

I tried that but the duct tape keeps getting caught in my beard...... I prefer the novelty helmet cus its less painful to get off when I stop for beers and whiskey.
