alright, the 1000 mile service, does it half to be done by the dealer who sold you the bike.can it be done by a shop other than h-d.i don't feel like doing it thru dealer if thats possible.i don't want to void my warranty, any info is appreciated.
or you can do it yourself. No service has to be done by a dealer you just have to keep reciepts and prove that the service was performed if you ever have any major problems like engine failure.
And then it all depends on your dealer, my bike is a 2007 dyna superglide custom and has 46,000 miles on it and has never been serviced by any dealer or indy. And my local dealers take care of me on my warranty issues and as of right now they have given me no issues. But some dealers will hassle you and make it tough on you.
