when you bring it in for the 1k service, have them dyno tune it.
Expect to pay about 3 hours labor.
Nature of the beast with the exhaust you sleceted.

Mine pops, I like it. Once I get my cams in, I'll get the thing tuned and see what I can't do about it...but not a priority.

I don't know about anyone else here, but my WG eats gas like it's going out of style! The popping probably doesn't help, either!

My dealer told me that it means it is running lean, i have the same pipes.

Wrong...its not out of tune...my bike is dyno tuned as well and it does it on occasion. The thing is is to close the throttle completely when shifting and it should reduce the popping. Having that short of pipes is something that he is probably going to have to live with

Sgod...the OP has one of the SERT products that does have a decel enleanment option to basically tune that pop out. If he either gets his bike tuned or learns how to do it himself he can get rid of the pop.

Wow that is really funny,before I had my pipes I got decel pop..I put on my BR pipes and my pop went away,none at all even coming down from high R's
