The over all set up alone looks whack... to many seals, and components. this filter looks like good heat build up will warp the seams and cause a leak. especially if your running a few miles and then hit rain. the contraction issue alone kinda worries me that it wont hold up.

Just hearing the weird claims of "increased hp" and "better gas mileage" 
makes me want to stick with tried and true throw-away oil filters. I'd be afraid the relief valve in the filter would get clogged after a time.

Well, it is better looking than the stock lump, and with the hex cap, I don't think channel-locks are gonna be needed for removal. But I seriously doubt the supposed cooling offered by the vestigial "cooling fins" would be enough to even be measured, let alone cooled enough to actually improve gas mileage and HP.

I just can't see the "extra" oil-pumping drag of a "normal" filter being high enough
to ever cause a noticeable difference in parasitic power loss. I took a look at them
months ago as much for extra oil cooling as anything else and the fact that I do NOT
have one on the bike says it all..
