Oil pump question
I have searched High and low and can't find the answer I am looking for. I have an 01 Super glide. I had to replace the cam chain tensioners because the front pad was worn out. I had pieces of the pad in my oil pump. I took it apart and replaced the tensioners and cleaned out the oil pump. Put everything back together and the oil light comes on at idle but goes out when you dive it some gas. The gearoters in the oil pump have dimples on them and I can't remember which way they were facing inside the oil pump housing. I took some pics if anyone needs them.
