2010 wide glide vibes
So I got a chance day before yesterday to get out with a couple buddies of mine and chew up some asphalt. My new pipes were sounded oh so good and man it was just a great day. Soooooooooooooo, my buddy just bought a new 10 wide glide, and had been complaining about vibes, so he wanted to trade rides for a little while. Okay, so we did, well first let me say, forward controls are deffinitely not for me, I had to stretch em out to hang my stompers up there. Anyway, bike seem to run pretty good but yea I did notice vibes, I could feel a high frequencey vibe on my legs hitting the horn/air cleaner. Yea I know harleys vibe but I could not even see out of his mirrors, it was so dang bad.
So, he didn't notice it on mine, I told him to get a service manual and we need to look at his front isolator to see if it's a bad from stock deal, and do a check on his alignment.
You guys with 10 wideglides, what say you?

no more vibe than normal here. I can get off my wifes Street Bob and on to my Wide Glide and they run the same. No differant vibrations. But if im correct your not the only one who has mentioned this recently?

Yeah, my other bike is an IronHead, so the new WG runs like it's not running at all comparatively.......
HOWEVER, that was not always the case. When I first picked up my bike from the dealer with 4 miles on it it had a horrible shake to it. They said it was just "break in vibes" so I rode it the next day and it got worse. Took it to another dealer and they found the motor mount had "gone bad." They replaced it in about 15 minutes and it's been good ever since.
I also know a buddy that bought a new Fat Bob a few days after mine, his mount was bad too. Check your buddy's!

Thanks for the replies guys, yea that's what I told him, I am willing to put money down it's that front isolator but he made a good point, heck it's under warranty, I'm gonna have them get it right, I told him damn straight bud.
