I only have Straight Shot slip ons and I pretty much tuned out my Decel pop by adjusting the Map adding fuel under 0% throttle. Then I installed the quiet baffles and it now pops again, let me say it is not bad, I even had a muffled pop with the stock mufflers and I have read threads where some say this is really just normal, but I have to say I am baffled by the quiet baffles??? I would think it would be even less with a more restrictive baffle. I don't want to add a crap load of fuel and richen it up too much either. I also down shift and engine break most of the time, so I think I am exacerbating the problem as well.
I am curious, where have the rest of you who have been successful in tuning out or reducing the decel pop with a PCIII ended up? Are you only adding fuel to the 0% throttle or taking away fuel. I am especially interested If you had it tumed on the dyno and where your map end up in the 0% throttle position. Please post your Map or just where you changed it along with your mods.
I also have not added any fuel to the 750 or 500 rpm cells, is there a adverse effect to idle if you add fuel in these cells and I was hesitant in adding in the 1000 rpm range as I read somewhere to only add in the 1750 up range.
Thanks

well the pop can come from excess fuel, so the quiet baffles could have richened the mix up some. Also pulling the baffles in and out can easily result in a leak causing the pop as well(putting stress on the joins or if you uninstalled slipon then reinstalled). May want to get some copper silicone from the auto parts store. Use it at the head gasket area and where the slipons go onto the header pipe. Anywhere there is a seal.
No one with adjusted 0% throttle Maps??? Interested in where you ended up or where the tuner ended up in the 0% throttle cells. Come on, take a minute, pull the Map and post your results
