Default 06 Bob Axle Problems

Whil on my Sturgis trip, I needed a new tire. After taking the bike into a shop for a new tire, I was told the rear axle had frozen up to the bearings and it could not be hit out. Apparantly, HD puts something on them at the factory that cuses them to freeze up after a while. My rear axle will need to be cut out and a new one put in. I was really pissed to hear about this when i was 1,200 miles from home.

On another note, does anyone make a white wall 180 tire that will fit on the rear wheel and a matching front tire as well?
