Question FXD with vrod headlight visor ??

Im hoping to get some feedback on this topic - I have a 2007 FXD and want to add the vrod headlight visor , I know someone on here has done this and I have seen the pictures of the bike with the visor cutout around the speedo - Thats the look I am going for , but heres my question , - If I run nightster or bad boy bars and a small pullback riser will that in fact stand my speedo up enough to prevent me from having to cut the visor ?? - anyone have this done to their bike ?? - OR would I be better off running night train bars and risers to get over top of the visor ?? - would love to see or hear from you.
Thanks in advance - Be safe.

are you talking about the headlight or the SOA style fairing?

Im talking about the fairing for the vrod/nightrod - but its listed as a headlight visor - sorry for the confusion , sometimes its a little harder to get the thoughts out clearly in a post so that they make perfect sense.

In the searches I did "risdo" has one on his bike and he cut a notch around the problematic speedo - Is there a combination that would get the speedo up or pulled back enough to keep the factory top clamp and not cut a notch in the fairing ??

Risdo was forum member who did the cut-out for the speedometer.

I almost tried the pullback risers myself but decided on a National Cycle Flyscreen ..... no modifications needed and offers much the same look.

I've looked at that visor and with pullback risers it should fit without cutting.

Fits fine with 6 inch risers and drag bar.

Same risers as Night Train from Drag Specialties. Bar is also from drag Specialties 27 or 28'" wide.
