lol just easier to get the risers from lonestar on this forum. He has them in 1" 2" and I think 4".

They just pop right into our built in risers.

Default risers

yeah....but what annoys me is i still need to have 1" bars or they have to reduce at the mounting clamps.....shopping for bars is bad enough but to have limits sucks

...liquid courage, a grinder and a triple tree. This would be waaaaaaaay better than American Chopper.

I've wondered about it myself and I could do it easy enough. I'm a machinist and could take them to work and put them in the mill, cut them down and put the holes in for bolt on risers.

The problem is the bolt holes for the riser caps are too deep. They go past the top of the tree and they would still be there after the built in risers were cut off. It's too bad too because even though I don't like the risers I do like the overall shape of the tree. It's differant than any of the rest that I've seen.

given that information, I would take the upper tree in to work along with a chunk of aluminum stock. Use the stock tree as a pattern, and cut a new one with the holes you want. Cheap, easy, and totally reversible.
