Annybody know

if you can replace the front tire on 09 streetbob with a wider one without affecting much of anything else......hate those grooves in the asphalt

You try the Dunlop Elite 3 tire!! There were some victory riders that ran them and they had some skinny tires. Looked like a 90 but on a 20" rim and they swear by them. I did a 21" wheel conversion and run the Elite 3 in a 120/70/21 and it hasn't grabbed a groove yet. 700 miles on them and work great. If anything you can use the stock hub and spokes, get a 21x3.25 Jireh cycles rims ($50). Lace it your self, get it trued and new tire. I think someone has tried a 110 on the stock rim.

The Avon Venom comes in a 100/90-19 that measures 109mm and a 110/90-19 that measures 119mm. These are the widest tires I have seen in their respective sizes and and also fit the front wheel on the SB.

I've got a wide front on my '07 bob, im not sure of the size off the top of my head. I am supper happy with it! I think it handles better than the standard size!
