I need to get new tires for my 05 883custom with 21" front wheel. I'd like to get a set of Shinko 777s but everywhere I look for a front tire the only sizes the tires come in are 80/90-21 and 90/90H-21, The stock tire size is MH90-21. Will one of these 21 inch Shinko tires work? I dont know the difference in these sizes.
I've also read that I could put a wider Shinko tire on with no modifications, I believe it was a 160 or 170 but I can only find the 777 in 150H/80-16 and 180/65B-16.
I have the 777 90/90 21" on the front of mine right now. Fits perfect and is a little bigger than the stock tire which is a 80/90 21". Order the 90/90. You need to run it at 38-39psi. Do not run the stock tire psi, it will perform like crap if you do.

They are different systems of designating tyres. 'MH' means the load rating, '90' means 90mm wide. That Skinko 90/90H-21 will be fine, the 80 will be a bit narrower and has a lower, less suitable load rating.
