Looking for help again???
On my way to work this morning Some odd noise in left side of the bike,can"t tell what kind of noise it is but was wondering what is the first signs of a STATOR is when it starts to go bad? The bike is still running fine and only heard the sound 5 or 6 times in a 10 mile ride.The IPB was replaced about 500 miles ago, but not the stator The noise doesn't mater if the clutch is in or out, it even did it at a stop light Looking for any help

hey gruder have someone check the cam side with a stetha scope could be the connector chain between the cam's assuming it is twin cam model just fixed a problem like that in my brothers night train sounded like primary side but after tearing down primary side found it wasnt went to cam side and found bearing failure and connector chain mabye food for thought hope this helps
