When you start, the butterfly opens (as the exhaust is not so loud at idle), when you rev it you'll see the the solenoid activate which closes the valve at higher revs to dampen the sound.

if i changhe the collettors with those without active exhaust control, i disable the function with the sepst and finally i remove the damn hardware...will i get any lights on?

There is no function available with the SEPST to disable it. If you just remove it then you will get a code on the speedo. You need an eliminator plug that fits into the harness where you remove the valve motor.

u sure u cannot ? reading into sepst files and guides seems is possible...
