Apparently I'm too short to make a decent reach to my wide glides handle bars. My lower back starts hurting after about an hour and I cannot lean back at all. I like the street slammer pull back bars from harley, except they are only 7 inches, my stock risers and bars are 6 inches is 1 inche going to make that big of a difference?
I like the drag style bars or the stock bars on the fat bob, I don't want any type of ape hanger. I want to stick with drag bars and no u-shaped bars.
Will the street slammer bar look weird with the front end being chrome and the bars being black?
If I go with an 8 or 9 inch bar plus riser kit will I need new wires? If so, can someone tell me what wire kit I will need?
Maybe I just need to get 9 inch risers and keep the bars I have. Are the wide glide bars 1.25" in bars?

The only black thing on the front of my bike is my headlight and fender...my forks are chrome my bars are chrome...
I'll check out carlinis
your forks and triple trees are polished aluminum, and your lower legs are brushed aluminum.
HD front ends aren't chrome unless you tell the dealer "i'd like to upgrade to the chrome front end" before you walk out the door, or if you buy a screamin' eagle model.
Black bar not ugly. I have an XR1200 black bar and black mirrors on my black FXD. Black handlebar clamp and speedo mount. Will soon powdercoat my windshield brackets black. Stainless hardware. Nice contrast.
Since fitting the bar and the tallboy seat, the reach is even too much for me and I'm 6'4". I'm having some three inch up and three inch back risers made which should do the trick. Will anodize them black, of course.
What about wiring, do I just need to get the wiring from HD or what?
Not quite sure I understand what you're asking but I'll take a stab at it. There should be ample wiring inside the top of the frame underneath your tank that will accommodate most handlebar setups.
