You can sure haul a lot of stuff in those! Is there any way to adjust the angle? It might just be the photo, but they look like they're sort of lower in the rear, like they need to be leveled up.
Interesting look. I guess it hasn't compromised the handling. . . .
I have a sneaky suspicion it would look cooler with different bars.
I had considered the hard bags for Dynas before I bought my leather bags. I can't really live without bags; the Fat Bob is my only set of wheels. This is the first bike I've had with saddlebags (and for the previous 27 years I either had a car of a bike, never both) and I am so so happy to have them.
I don't think they look right on the Fatbob. My opinion. If I end up getting bags I will go with leather and quick release. Don't get me wrong. I have plans to add a Street Glide to my garage soon. The Fatbob gets lonely in the garage by itself.
way too wide, and way too much of a gap between the bags and the fender/tire. Id say suck them in or take them off.
Me too. I put Leather Pros on mine and they set up nice and tight to the side of the bike. The bags are large but I don't have a big gap between them and the fender. But all that really maters is what you think. I know one thing for sure, you will love having a place to put your stuff in.
I think they look like they are sitting too far off the bike also. I just bought some used HD leather bags from a member on here. Are there any aftermarket quick detach brackets that don't make you're bags sit an inch or more off the bike?
