I tested the brake light wire with a voltmeter and without pressing the brake pedal it reads 11.49 volts when I press it it reads 11.64 so I'm guessing the pressure switch is bad. I guess the brake light is on all the time. Where is this switch located?

Follow the brake line from the caliper for the rear, and the front is in the control. Disconnect the rear and see if the voltage reading changes, it may be your front..

Well I called my local dealer and It was all doom and gloom, the switch is broken and the master cylinder is bad blah blah blah $200.00 blah blah blah. So I called one of the smaller cycle shops and he told me that i can fix it myself for under twenty bucks. He said he has seen this many times and that if i bring the bike up sat mourning he will show me what to do. He said it's called a speed bleeder and it forces the fluid through the master cylinder and that the switch gets moved when you change the levers like I did and it has to be realligned so it will shut off and turn off the brake light. Soo hopefully he is right and this will all be over Sat. Has anyone heard of this before?

So in others words it is the front control as I mentioned. Did you check without the rear connection? It could be a bad switch either place, just easier to disconnect the rear.

Yes I did and it didn't change. So yes you were right it is the front switch, I still don't know where it is but he told me he would show me sat. He said that it's some kind of syringe with fittings that go over the bleeder and as it pushes the fluid through the line it forces open the pump in the master cylinder and fills the bowl. Once I fill the cylinder and re-adjust the switch I hope this will be over.

Just an addition. Put the led bulbs in my old sportie with smoked lenses and no one behind me could see me at all. Went on ride with a bunch of riders and they forced me to change back asap. Hope yours works out better than mine did.
I also went through about 5 different bulbs and tried going back to red 3157 but burnt a hole in the lense. F.Y.I.

Well I fixed the brakelight issue. I had to move the switch closer to the lever and now the brake light turns on when I use the front or back lever. The master cylinder still won't take fluid so Monday I'm gonna buy a rebuild kit for it. Thanks for all your help guys.
