Ok guys... Sorry for the stupid questions, but I've gotta ask, so bear with me..lol....
1. Have any of you guys taken a stock set of heritage bags and mounted them sucessfully to your 1995-2003 Wide Glide?? If so, details and pics would be appreciated..
2. Does the front turn signals unhook under the gas tank??
The turn signal wires go into the main harness into the backbone, you have to remove the plug on the right side of the neck to acces the plugs, they should be the first ones that come out
thanks Roofer... I knew that the shocks would get in the way, but didnt know if anyone had fabricated any brackets that you could mount the bags behind the shocks in some way but figured it wouldnt work.. Thanks for the info...
Thats what I thought.. I figure that you could mount them (maybe get rid of the turn signals) further back, but I think it would be too far back..... I have been looking at a set of Saddlemen Drifter Express with Shock Cutaways.. They are around $220 and looks like the biggest bang for the buck plus they look decent.... I already have the mounting brackets on the bike too...
From: Cleveland, Ohio (how do I put up with this place?)
I have a set of 1998 factory Fat Boy bags on my 2008 Street Bob.
Pic in photo section is poor, you may be able to brighten it.
I used Ghost Brackets and relocated the turn signals.
