Default Pipes for FXD
Getting a bit ahead of myself here,I dont pick up the bike till next week,but I am kind of familiar with it,it belongs to a good friend of mine right now.It is a '97 Dyna FXD with stock pipes.What kind of exhaust would you guys recommend,slip-ons? Or something else.Do I need to re-jet?My main interest at the time is to improve the sound,but of course performance is also a concern.Although I am not new to bikes,Harley's are a mystery to me right now.Thanks.

There's no better sounding exhaust than Vance & Hines Big Shot Staggereds...PERIOD!

I am happy with my Vance and Hines, sound, fit/finish, everything about them has been great and they don't cost that much either.
