Default Suggestions on Superglide Custom Bags

Does anyone have any suggestions on some bags for a superglide custom. I really don't want to move the turn signals.

I've was looking at the Harley Dealer and they don't don't seem to have any bags that do not require moving the turn signals.

I don't plan on using them all the time just want to go on long trips.

Thanks

Default Suggestions on Superglide Custom Bags

When I go on long trips, I put on my detachable sissy bar / luggage rack and use my Multi-Fit Overnight Bag and a couple of Dowco Iron Rider bags. I have enough space to carry what I need for a week-long trip easily. It's not an expensive set-up, and there's no need to move the lights.

If you just want cheapo throw overs, go to Jafrum or Leatherup. Buy a set for 50 dollars or so and a set of cheap support brackets off of ebay and away you go. I know its sounds like allot of money now, but relocating the lights and dumping 400-500 bucks on a quality set of bags is a very good investment. I've done both routes, and bigger bags sure are nice on those long trips. Especially if you have a passenger riding with you. Just sayin'.

Default Motopak

I put a set of Motopak "throw-over" cordura nylon saddlebags with a tank and tail bag on my '05 FXDI. You can get everything directly from Motopak luggage online or try to get a better deal on the same stuff on ebay. Motopak sells directly on ebay. The saddlebags are the GT90 series and hold way more than any accessory Dyna bags available throgh the Motor Co. The saddlebags alone hold approx 1800 Cu inches and expand to approx 2700 cu in each. The tail bag expands as well and the GT Mini magnetic tank bag (also expands) and is the largest tank bag I have found that will allow full view of my Dynas tank mounted fuel gauge and doesn't interfere with the fuel cap. It's all nylon, very nice, excellent quality, extremely durable and goes on and off in minutes. I used single bolt saddlebag brackets and instead of relocating my turn signals I unbolted them, removed the standoff bracket and bolted the light directly to the fender strut, you will need shorter bolts. This does not relocate the turn signals but sets them in close enough to clear saddlebags.
