I kill my engine when coming into my driveway sometimes, it's quite long so I'm usually still moving at a pretty good clip. It's amazing the noises the bike makes just rolling allong...Try it out in a safe place could help ya figure it out. Otherwise time for louder pipes and drown out the noise!
Noise got worse so I took it to the dealer on my way home from work today. I had a tech get on it and take it for a ride. He got out of the parking lot and pulled a u-turn. He should have said, "hey dumbass you want to trade this in for a moped?!" but he actually said, "your belt is too tight".
I checked the belt as the owner manual states and it was within tolerance. I asked them to adjust it for me and five minutes later I was back on the road listening to that sweet sweet symphony of 96 cubic inches.
