I have a buddy that has a set of those exact shocks. He said they were too low for his taste. So I am thinking of buying them from him. I am hoping they will get rid of the wallowy / mushy feeling of the stockers.
I would like to think that those shocks will tighten up the rear of the bike enough to be more sporty, Yet still have a good enough dampiing ability due to the IAS technology to still absorb hits as good or better than the stockers. Do you get that impression from them so far?
seems pretty accurate. but know that less travel in the shock is less travel. lowering your bike with any shock and your giving up the plush ride. but if you want to lower , i think these are a great way to go

I dont want to lower my bike really, but I cant stand the huge gap at the rear tire to fender. So I believe I have decided to go with these shocks and the 18 rear rim so I will get the fender clearance addressed and the taller wheel will give me back the lost ride height and additionally help with filling the rear fender. I feel that this bike needs tightened up on both ends so I guess I will give them a try.
440's are good shocks. I think you'll like them. I had great luck with my drop in front spring kit. Heavier oil works well with the lowered springs especially if you do the full 2 inch drop.
