I've just had my 2008 fxdf stage 1 tuned and its top speed is only 110mph,
is this about right or should it be able to pull 120? it doesn't seem right to me at all considering they market the top speed as 115 from stock!
You have to remember that number is taken under controlled conditions. The run was done probably at a drag strip. No wind residence. The rider weighted a whopping, 135 pounds.
Your run was done in real life conditions and with your weight and all, your only 5MPH off the advertised speed.

its got A Kuryakyn corsair air cleaner, V&H SS and XiED leads for the fueling.
Why the heck did you get the Stage 1 download when you DON'T have any stage 1 components?
Stage 1 is a recalibration map from HD made specifically for HD Screamin' Eagle intake and high flow slip on mufflers. HD makes several different intakes. The "Heavy Breather" intake and "Race" slip on mufflers are less restrictive than the "regular stage 1" or the "ventilator" intake and the "street legal" mufflers. The XiED do not recalibrate the map in open loop for the increase airflow besides learned fuel values which are not a 1 to 1 ratio.
