Yesterday my wife and I were out on my 10 WG and two times I had a problem with the tranny. Both times I was coming to a stop and down shifting but it would not go past 3rd gear. I would manage to take off in 3rd gear, shift to 4th and all was fine. While I was stopped I tried to shift up and down and nothing would happen, but once I took off it shifted just fine into 4th gear. I am planning on taking it to the dealership to have it looked at, but I wanted to see if any of you have had or seen similar issues.

 

90% of shifting problems are clutch problems, usually adjusting it to specs clears things up. Another five percent is linkage related. Like something binding on a shaft or keeping the pedal from having full travel.
