water spots on chrome help please
some a$$ cutting grass next door to me threw grass all over my bike while i was at work. well i got home and rinsed it off real quick because i didnt have time to wash it. Now i have water spots all over the chrome and it will not come off, even after washing the bike and tring chrome polish. Does anyone know how to get these spots off. Please help

Any of the products listed above, applied with 0000 steel wool. Now before you say thats crazy. Read the bag at any hardware store, walmart or anywhere that sells steel wool. 0000 steel wool is designed specifically to clean and polish chrome. Polishes are chemical cleaner/polisher, steel wool is a mechanical cleaner/polisher. If the chemicals wont cut it, you need to step up to the next step. I worked in a body shop for years, steel wool is the trick for chrome.

The more zeros, the finer it is. 4 zero and 5 zero are very fine and won't scratch. 3 zero is for removing more than you got and isn't necessary.
