exhaust and power commander V question

I missed out on a deal of a century, 250.00 shipped for black VH staggered shortshots... I freakin' passed them up because I trying to be sensible and save the cash. Well, that lasted only a week because now I want that darn exhaust and I don't know what to do. I just put a bid out for the same stag shorts in chrome, 275.00 shipped, but I don't think he'll bite.
I also wanted to know whether the power commander V is fine for 07/08 dyna models. I know this topic has been discussed before so im not asking for a lengthy response. I'm shopping around for a tuner and someone suggested the V, but on the dynojet website its not offered for the 07s, plus, i'm afraid im not going to be using it to its full capacity.
My overall plan is to get the SE stage 1 air cleaner, VH exhaust or slips, and the PC III and bring it in to my local dealer for a dyno tune. I'm not a regular on the forum so I do miss out on a lot of discussions, but do you guys think that's a good overall plan or a waist of money for the dyno tune via dealer. I'm trying to do it right and not blow money.

If you want a PCV you will have to get it from fuel moto they have retrofit it to work on the older dynas I have one on my 08 and it works great. here is a link

The PC V will work , but you should go through through fuel moto (forum sponsor) you'll need one that is "retro fitted" from them . But the PC III will work just as good . Also , if you want to , check out fuel moto , they offer their own tuner . It's basically a PC III with out the manual tuning buttons on the face , for a fairly lower price . Plus , they'll send it to you with a map all ready loaded ! Also search Dennis Kirk web site for pipes !!! They are offering Bub7 2 into 1 pipes brnd new for under $200.00 !!!!!!
