why is it that all the cool *** black pipes are for 06 and up dynas .....my 2002 fxdx sport is suffering from exhaust envy ..lol guess ill just get me a thunderheader

They're chrome ... but, definitely look awesome ....

Check out Freedom exhausts if you want black pipes for your pre-06 dyna.

2001 FXDX came with black pipes! My buddy had one,
Way ahead of it's time.
Maybe you can get some stock pipes off fleabay?

yeah ...ive got the stock (gutted ) black factory on my 02 fxdx now ...want something different..the d&d fat cat looks good as the thunderheader ithink the 2 into 1 will be better for my future mods..mikuni carb,hi po manifold,cams etc

I've got a set of pre-06 Stainless Bassani Pro Streets that are wrapped and painted black I'll give you a great deal on. They only have about 40 miles on them I bought them for a project that didn't turn out.
