Dyna Takes a Few Before it Turns Over
When I kill the engine and start it back up again, like at a fuel station or moving into the garage, my bike takes a few cranks more before it turns over, is this normal or an issue.
I got a thunderheader, tuned fuelpak and hiflow AC...
Can someone maybe tell me whats going on, and the issue could be the bike is just hot and has a hard time starting up when hot.

My guess: Remove your battery & load test it. Then make sure it is fully charged and reinstall making sure the cables are tight. I would get a 12v deltran battery tender from amazon for $27 if you are not using a tender. When batteries start to die the engine will hard start as they lose their ability to handle the load on startup.
If you need a new battery go to the East Penn Deka website as they make all of the Moco batteries. Call them to find a local distributor and you will save $30 over the dealer cost. If the battery takes a good charge and runs down again then test your stator & vr for charging voltage.

My Fat Bob was doing the same thing. I have been trying new things. The one thing that has been working the best is waiting for my engine light to go off before I start it. It takes about 5 seconds after you flip your start switch but mine has been starting everytime I do this. This may help you out and I hope it does. I kind of look at it like a diesel truck. I think it maybe just perges the gas a little bit longer. I don't know, I just know it has been working for me. Take care

With a stage one upgrade for some reason (my mechanic told me but I forget) it takes 3 cycles of the starter to fire your bike up. To bypass the 3 cycles turn the key on and hit the start button right away. Do not wait for your fuel pump to finish cycleing. This basicly tricks your EFI and your bike should fire up on 1 cycle of the starter.
