Default What does it take for fat front wheel/tire?

Which HD wheels are interchangable with a 06 Super Glide? 49 mm forks,
I believe it have a 1" axle
My concern is the brake caliper location on fork

you do have a one inch axle as far as wheels go i am not sure what would fit your bike that you can put a wider rim and tire in there. I have a night train front end on mine which is that same as the older wide glides and i put a ultra classic front and rear rim on my bike

You can lace a 21x3.25 rim on your stock hub if you like. That is what I have on my bike in my sig line.

Yes if you wanted a fat bob style tire size i dont think it will fit in between your type front end but i am not sure on that because I have never tried it. I know that the wheels i have on right now are 6 1/2 inches from bearing race to bearing race through the hub as is the rear rim. My original bob rear rim was the same measurement so i was able to bole it right in with the same spacers and no mod to the rim or the bike. You might be able to put a little wider tire on the rim you have but it wont be like mine or like the wide tires on the front of the fat bob.

if you want a "fat" tyre you are going to need wider trees.
IE fatbob or wideglide.
it then opens up the use of most wheels with the use of the correct spacers.
