Have a 09 Street Bob that I would like to replace the triple trees. I am looking at the Fat Bob black triple trees. Would this be just a simple change of removing the trees an install new trees an slide complete front end back together without changing anything else ?
What's your goal with the triple tree replacement ? Do you simply want to have new handle bars and the integrated risers are messing with your choices or do you really want a fat front end like the Fat Bob has ?
If all you want is to get rid of the integrated risers, you just need the top triple tree part #45538-08, not whole trees. Zanotti has it for 228.14$.
Part # came from Harley, on a custom SB they have on their site, you can view it here :
wow that price for just the top tree, is dearer than the complete Black Fat Bob triple trees that I'm putting on my street bob.
They were $198 and then another $46 for the axle.
Machined all my own spacers.
How much woulds you charge for spacers like that? I've wanted to put those triple trees on my Bob using the stock rim but don't have the know how to make it fit.
I'm in australia mate, i'm sure there would be someone in yr country who could knock some up for you.
My new trees just arived today and they look **** hot i've got my fork lowers and other bits and epoxy pieces painted all ready to go, got a 12 hr nite shift to do tonite then start throwing it all back together but still waiting for my new Wild 1 outlaw apes to arrive...
