Now don't get me wrong here..

Of course it snaps my head.. it just doesn't have the ponies my Lincoln does.. I haven't dynoed my LS but it has to be near 340 horses now. (BTW, the LS isn't a typical Linc.. think more of a BMW 5 series with a stronger motor.) My bike DOES pull.. and maybe it IS pulling the way it should..

For instance, when I pull away when I get into gear, any gear, the initial blast off isn't that strong. She moves, but doesn't really pull until about 3k, which TOMMAY suggested about right.

I will call my boys tommorow and see when they can schedule me. Hell, I paid for this, might as well make sure she's right. And if it is right, well, what can I say...

Inch, did you leave out that you have some upgrades on your lincoln? Off the top of my head a stock LS V8 has around 240 hp give or take a few. I only know this because i almost bought one. Very nice car. It still was fun to drive. But if you have 340 hp that would make a nice jump in performance.

"any gear, the initial blast off isn't that strong"

Should be. At least I can say my scoot does blast off.

"doesn't really pull until about 3k"

What are you ridin?? Has a tach??

At any rate if your 340 horse Linc is more impressive than your 88,
something is lacking.

My 450 horse SBChev is more impressive than my 88,
But it is a different kind of impressive, especially from 3 grand up
in the chev. Built that way, it really starts talking to ya above 3.

Your VandH, open AC, and PC3, should be impressing you,
I would think.

Patch-
I do have the compression release valves on mine, came stock with the SE heads.
They work good as far as easy starts, less stress on the starter. I have had to replave them, not positive why, just guess they carboned up. No problem with pinging, did have it Dyno'd so it should be close to right and use 93 octane.
