I recently picked up my 2000 FXD (my first Harley), and it came with forward controls, but no stock mid-mount pegs. The mounting holes are still on the chassis, but no bracket, clevis pins, or pegs. Does anyone know where I can pick up a whole assembly, or at least the bracket that mounts to the chassis?

I've looked through Craigslist, Ebay, and other ads. I called one independent reseller, and they stated I would have to go through the dealer. I stopped by the dealer this afternoon, and they want $160 for just both of the mounting brackets. That's before I even add pegs!

Any used/junkyards anyone can refer me to? It's a little awkward always going to forward controls when I may just be moving a short distance, or riding over rough road.

just search on ebay you should be able to pick some up real cheap if your willing to wait for someone selling them. I got a pair off of mid controls/brackets for like 25 bucks. Stock footpegs will run you like 12 bucks a piece if you want them from the dealer.

 

Thanks for the help. Yeah, the pegs themselves were pretty inexpensive. It was the brackets that caused sticker shock.

I appreciate the ebay links. I think I had been focusing more on just the brackets/mounts, and not considering the entire set of controls.
