Python Mamba Slip-Ons for Fat Bob
Information for anyone interested in adding some slip-ons to their Fat Bob.
Just installed the Python Mamba slip-ons last night. Very good quality product. All necessary hardware was supplied. You re-use the stock muffler clamps and one stock bolt to attach the supplied mounting bracket. Chrome heat shields are heavy gauge and not at all flimsy. Overall diameter is 3" with baffles approximately 1.75" One screw to remove the baffles if you wish to upgrade to the 2.5" $299 from motorcycle superstore.
Sound improvement is significant over stock. Nice low rumble and now sounds like a Harley. Good bark under heavy throttle. About what you can expect from Slip-ons only. These will keep me happy until I can afford the full exhaust/air cleaner/PC V package.
