Pits are only as bad as their upbringing/training. My neighbor had a white & black female pit that was about the biggest mush I had ever met. I never felt worried letting my 2yr old get near her.
im sorry for your loss. i have to agree with vrod i have a german rott. this dog is the biggest baby. some neibors little dog got attacked they first went to my buddies house to blame his boxer, after he proved them wrong they came knockin on my door. i kinda had to laugh cause there is a big difference between a rott. and a boxer the guys wife said she swore it was my dog but went to the boxers house first. just stereo typein the two dogs. wound up being a mix breed dog down the road.but again griff sorry for your losses
Yeah, but I think the point is: when a Pomerainan goes off, it's like a firecracker as opposed to a stick of dynamite.
Yes but the fact that MOST pomeranians (or other small "yippy" dogs for that matter) are aggressive/possessive/territorial and no one bats an eye because they are so "cute." It's almost funny when a chihuahua bites you. But a large dog does it, everyone loses their ****.
And most times, its never a "pitbull" if there is an attack. It's most likely some kind of mixed breed. But for some reason people like to throw around "pit" or "pitbull" so loosely to blame. There always has to be a villain and a scape goat. The american pitbull terrier has become that in our society. And it's really sad.
Blame the deed or blame the owner, don't blame the breed. German shepards, labrador retrievers, rottweilers, presa canarios, and many other breeds can be aggressive it is the owner that makes the difference.
