Default Boss Blade or Trigger Lever?

I have an '08 Street Bob.

I have small hands, short reach. I don't really have a "strength" issue as far as pulling in the clutch, but because my finger reach is short, I find that by the time I get to the point where my clutch engages, the lever is literally at my finger tips. I AM surprised I haven't popped the clutch because of this. It is most annoying when I am doing tight turn maneuvers when backing my bike out of the garage and then getting it pointed down the driveway - hard to explain, but it is what it is).

My hubby adjusted it as much as he could because he noticed the clutch seemed to have too much play, having to be out too far before it engaged, but it really didn't make a whole lot of difference.

SO, I have found the Kuryakn Boss Blad and their Trigger Lever and thought one of these might be my solution. But does anyone have any input as to which one might be better?

Thanks! So ... what's a degreed clutch ramp? From where/who? Do you recall the cost? Thanks!

It goes in your side door of your transmission and hooks up to your clutch cable to make it easier to pull in the clutch lever. You can get them from Biker's Choice,Drag Specialties,Custom Chrome,J&P Cycle,Dennis Kirk,V-Twin Teddy....And possibly Harely-Davidson. Price runs between $24.99-$79.99 depending on which one you go with.

Although I don't have small hands, I have been eyeing the Trigger's for a couple of days because I like the index finger "trigger" on the levers and often just use my index and middle finger to shift and (lightly) engage the brake. I read that these were especially handy for those with smaller hands, becausee your index finger is the strongest of your fingers and it will help keep your fingers in place along the levers. In either case wether you go with the triggers or the Boss's, (IMHO) you should try the upgraded levers before you buy enhancements that require you to crack open the engine/tranny case.

Hope that helps!
