Default Screamin Eagle II SLIP ON'S

I'm a new member to the board but have been riding for 30 years. I bought a new 06 Dyna Wide Glide last month and hit 600 miles over the weekend. I stopped in the local dealer here in Knoxville yesterday and found a set of new Screamin Eagle II Slip ons.
Box read year 95 and up.

My wife and I went for a little ride this afternoon and I was surprised. I figure it would cough and pop with-out the map
on the ECM. Well It never coughed, never popped on deceleration? I did notice when I took the stock mufflers off they
they had a lot of black soot inside. I guess mine was just rich for some reason from the factory.

It sure made a real difference on acceleration. A lot smoother and man they sound good.

By the way its our 3 HD and it seems to be the best quality yet.

Previous Bikes 93 heritage softail and 99 ultra classic.

Enjoy the ride! Thats what its all about!

I put my SEII on right away when I got my street bob and it runs great with nothing done 4000 miles later. I know it could run better though so I think that I'm gonna do up the race tuner this winter.

I added SE-2 slip-ons too. Maybe it's the Texas heat but my bike ran pretty lean, even with the stock AC. I only heard minimal popping after chopping the throttle in gear, but when I checked the plugs, they were bone white on bottom. I reinstalled the stock slip-ons before a 1000-mile trip just to be sure. Since then, I reinstalled the SE2s, added a Big Sucker AC and a PCIII. Runs much cleaner and cooler now. I'd take a look at your plugs after the bike cools off from a decent ride, just to be sure.

I got the baloney cuts and really like em........got the sert & a/c & dyno tune. I still get some gurgling & an occasional pop when I run it hot to 5500 rpm and decelerate but the plugs are clean with a little black soot on the outer ring so it's not too lean. I may get a retune at 5000 miles by then the engine is fully settled in.
