IMO it looks a little wonky, but not redneck. Maybe it would look better on a Vespa?

Just my honost 2cents, maybe its the shape that just makes it look strange, if it went straight up on the sides it might look a little better.

C'mon guys..give him a break

It's a prototype..the wright brothers did'nt get it right first time either

lol...bit of fettling here and there,maybe some metal reinforceing and more secure mounts on the handle bars,different shape and it'll look ok,if not ,strap a sleeping bag up front instead.

I made it from a pattern that I bought at Tandy Leather. The kit that you buy only includes instructions and the cutout pattern. Here's a link:
